What is Claimence?
Here’s the Claimence website
Claimence is a U.S.-based Insurtech startup specializing in Financial Lines. The company operates in the Financial Lines Insurance and Claims Handling Technology industry. Services provided for Claimence included branding, product strategy, and MVP design and development. The project was carried out in partnership with Quantit, focused on AI and Natural Language Processing development.
The Challenge
Financial Lines insurance — including Directors & Officers (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPLI), Errors & Omissions (E&O), and Fiduciary Insurance (FI) — presents a unique level of complexity. Each claim requires an exhaustive analysis of extensive legal and policy documentation to produce non-binding coverage assessments, often under severe time constraints.
Traditional manual review processes are slow, costly, and vulnerable to human error.
Claimence set out to modernize this workflow by combining proprietary technology with artificial intelligence–driven automation. The goal: leverage AI to interpret coverage definitions and exclusions, extract actionable insights, generate preliminary recommendations, and draft coverage determination correspondence — radically improving accuracy and operational efficiency for claims professionals.
Our Solution
From inception, Rocking partnered closely with Claimence, leading brand development, UX/UI design, and MVP implementation.
Our process began with a deep discovery phase, mapping every step of the coverage analysis workflow. Together with claims handlers and legal experts, we identified pain points where AI could provide measurable value.
The design team created a data-centric, trustworthy brand identity that reflects the analytical rigor and confidence essential in the insurance sector. Using the Rocking Accelerator — our proprietary SaaS framework — we transformed Claimence’s concept into a working, demo-ready product in record time.
In collaboration with Quantit, we integrated advanced natural language processing models capable of interpreting complex policy language and generating draft coverage letters. The result was an intuitive, efficient workflow where human expertise and AI work hand in hand.
Branding & Identity
Rocking shaped Claimence’s strategic and visual identity to express clarity, intelligence, and reliability.
The visual system blends deep blues and neutral tones to evoke trust and analytical precision. The logo symbolizes convergence — the intersection between human reasoning and machine intelligence — while the tone of voice communicates authority through simplicity.
This cohesive identity unified the brand across product, web, and investor-facing materials, positioning Claimence as a confident, forward-thinking player in the Insurtech landscape.
The Results
Within a few months, Claimence successfully launched its MVP with live demonstrations for major insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators (TPAs).
The platform now automates the full Financial Lines coverage analysis process, delivering insights that once required days of manual work in less than 15 minutes.
Claimence clients can now:
- Upload complex claims and receive structured, AI-driven coverage analysis in minutes.
- Generate consistent and compliant preliminary coverage letters.
- Interact in real time with AI-generated results for accuracy and customization.
- Track activity and audit decisions across cases effortlessly.
- Scale operations without increasing manual workload.
This remarkable achievement positioned Claimence as an emerging leader in the Insurtech space, setting new standards for efficiency and accuracy in Financial Lines claims handling.
The Collaboration
- Claimence brought deep domain knowledge and a clear business vision.
- Quantit contributed state-of-the-art AI and NLP technology.
- Rocking delivered the brand, product design, and technical execution that brought the vision to life.
Through transparent communication, iterative development, and a shared purpose, we helped Claimence validate its core value proposition swiftly and credibly.
Looking Ahead
Building on the MVP’s success, Claimence is expanding its platform to cover the full lifecycle of claims — from damage assessment to class action tracking and analytics for brokers and carriers.
Rocking continues to partner with Claimence in this next phase, helping scale the technology, refine the product experience, and push the boundaries of what’s possible when AI amplifies human expertise.
